When you can't sign in
Which button your account answers to, Hide My Email, the code for the phone, and how to reach a person.
Milewise has no password of its own. Your account opens with the button you created it with: Google, Apple or Strava. There is nothing to reset; the question is which of them your account answers to.
Use the same button as last time
- Google and Apple open the same account when both carry the same confirmed email address.
- Strava gives Milewise no email address, so it opens only the account it is already connected to. While Milewise is not taking new Strava connections, an account that already signs in with Strava still does.
- A different button that matches no account can create a new, empty one. Your plan and your history are still in the old account: sign out, and sign in the way you did before.
Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email
If you let Apple hide your email address, Apple gives Milewise an address that exists only for this app, so it can never match an account you made with Google. Sign in the way you did before, then add Apple under You, then Settings, then Connected apps, with Add connection. From then on either button opens your account.
On the phone
The phone apps follow once they are in the App Store and on Google Play.
Still locked out
If the sign-in page says your account has been disabled, or nothing here helps, write to us through the contact page. Say which service you signed up with, if you remember it. A person reads it.
