Help · Getting started

Your first day with Milewise

Connect a source, answer three questions, get your first week.

Create your account with Google or Apple at app.milewise.de (new Strava sign-ups are paused; an existing Strava account still signs in); you need to be 18 or older. There is no Milewise password: Google, Apple or Strava signs you in. The iPhone app is in the App Store; the Android app follows on Google Play. Then three things, in this order.

  1. 01

Connect one source. intervals.icu brings your history and your watch; Suunto and Polar bring your workouts with sleep and recovery. One is enough to start, and a workout file from any watch works too. Which apps and watches work.

  2. 02

Answer three questions. What you are training for, which days you can train, and where you are starting from. Without a subscription you pick a goal and get a week of training built without AI; with one you describe your goal in a sentence and the coach builds your plan around it. Change the goal any time under You, then Goal: Your goal and your plan.

  3. 03

Sleep with the watch on. With a subscription, the morning check reads each night once your watch has synced it. HRV and resting heart rate are compared with your own normal once there are eight nights from the last four weeks; before that, the check works from your sleep and your training.

What you see on day one

Your activities and their maps, your fitness and fatigue from the history you brought, and a first week of training. The morning check, feedback on your workouts, a plan that adapts to you and the chat are the subscription; plans, prices and the free trial.

Milewise is an AI and gives training and fitness guidance only, not medical advice.
