Talking to the coach
What to ask, what it can change, and the daily allowance.
The chat is a coach who has read your training. It answers on your own runs, your plan and your goal, not on generalities.
Worth asking
- About a period: how your long-run pace or heart rate has moved since June, whether a block did what it should.
- About a session: why yesterday felt hard, what the splits say, what to keep next time.
- About the plan: move a session, swap a day, make a week lighter because life is in the way. It changes the plan, not just the reply.
- About you: the knee is sore, you slept badly, the day will be hot. Pain always changes the plan; it is never trained through.
What it works from
Activities from intervals.icu, Suunto, Polar and your phone's health app, your sleep and recovery, your plan, your goal, and what you have told it before. Strava-recorded activities are the exception: it does not read them, by Strava's rules. Your Google Calendar, if you connected it, is read so the plan fits your week.
The daily allowance
Each day has a message allowance that resets the next day; the chat tells you when you reach it. The Pro plan puts the stronger model on your chat. Plans and prices.
The coach is an AI and gives training and fitness guidance only, not medical advice. If something hurts for more than a day, that is a doctor question.
