Connect Strava
What Milewise reads, what it never does with Strava data, and why the coach does not read it.
Strava can be your sign-in and a source of activities. It is also the one source with rules of its own, and Milewise follows them to the letter.
- 01
Open You, then Settings, and press Connect next to Strava. You approve on Strava's own page.
- 02
Your activities appear in your history, and new ones follow as Strava reports them.
What is different about Strava
The coach does not read Strava-recorded activities. You see them in your history with their numbers and routes, but Strava's terms do not allow an AI to be trained or coached on them, so the coach leaves them out. For coaching on your runs, connect intervals.icu, Suunto, Polar or your phone's health app.
- Milewise never uploads to Strava, never changes an activity there, and never copies a Strava-recorded workout to another service.
- An activity that reached Milewise through intervals.icu but was recorded on Strava counts as Strava's.
Turning it off
Disconnect under You, then Settings. Milewise revokes its own access at Strava and deletes every activity it read from there. Deleting your account does the same.
