Your plan on your watch
How sessions reach the intervals.icu calendar and a Suunto watch, and the switch that stops it.
A plan you have to read off a screen mid-run is not a plan. Milewise puts each session where your watch can find it, two ways.
| Through | How it arrives |
|---|---|
| intervals.icu | Each session is written into your intervals.icu calendar on its day, with steps and targets. intervals.icu syncs it to the watch you linked there, the way it does with any planned workout. On from the moment you connect; a switch under Settings turns it off. |
| Suunto | Upcoming sessions become SuuntoPlus Guides in your Suunto account. You pin a guide in the Suunto app and sync; then it is on the watch. Connect your Suunto watch |
Three things that are always true
- Rest days are never pushed. Nothing lands on your watch on a rest day.
- When the plan changes, the calendar follows. A morning check that eases the day, a session you moved in the chat: the entry is rewritten, not duplicated.
- The coach never claims a session is on the watch. It can only say it has been placed in the calendar or that the guide is waiting; the last step is the watch's sync, or your pin.
